When it is time to renew your policy, I personally think it is a time of decision making again. For me, its almost like its the first time because I have to do some reviewing of my experience with my last insurer and ask myself if I would be wise continuing with them.
Here are some question I would ask myself.
1, How was my relationship with them? 2, How was the customer relationship? 3, Did I get the best I could with them? 4, Are there incentives to make me o back to them? 5, Can I get better somewhere else?
These are only some common sense questions. You can come up with more.
These questions help you determine your next course of action and your next course of action would determine if you would enjoy better rates or not.
I see this as an opportunity to get better deals on my car insurance coverage. So with this in mind, you can go about the process knowing what end result you want – A lower rate.
Amongst all you would have to do, comparing quotes stands above all. getting and comparing quotes would give you a total of a number of rates charged by a number of insurers enabling you to better answer some of the questions above. You would now be able to compare this with your own insurer and know if you should continue with or simply move on to better deals.
Be sure not to be drawn by reduced rates alone. Make sure you are getting the value you want at the best rate because good rates + Inadequate coverage = A waste of money.
